Week 10 – Seminar Task : Architectural images
In todays seminar we were given a task which is to look and take a picture of architectural building around the campus. I choose the cathedral as it had a lot of details and lines that represent the theme of architecture.
These are more images of the how the cathedral encompasses the beauty of architecture.
Week 9- Seminar Task : An Attempt To Exhaust a Place In Lincoln
In this seminar we looked at a work done by Georges Perec calledĀ An Attempt at Exhausting a Place in Paris. His book talks about how Paris was in his time.
Week 7- Seminar Task : Portrait
In the workshop we were given a task which was to take a photo of a stranger in a portrait. Portrait is different from a photograph of a single person in that there is a consent from the person being photographed and knows that they are photoed.
Portrait is a picture of a person that is engaged in a dialogue (spoken or unspoken) with the photographer
I have taken these images and used small lights to add a feel of christmas to it. The large photo is my favouriteĀ one as it captures the guy but it slightly unfocused on him and more on the lights which gives more a sense of christmas and winter.
